I picked up this Microsoft Xbox Stereo Gaming Headset and it’s honestly one of the best wired headsets I’ve used for gaming. The sound quality is fantastic — clear dialogue, deep bass for explosions and gunfire, and excellent directional audio in games like Call of Duty and Forza. The noise isolation is really good too. Super comfortable for long sessions. The ear cups are soft and breathable, the headband is well-padded, and it doesn’t squeeze my head. The flexible mic is crystal clear for party chat and Discord, with good noise cancellation so my voice comes through loud and clean. Plug-and-play on Xbox Series X with no setup needed. Overall, these headphones definitely get the job done and the quality of the original Xbox headphones have improved over the years since the previous Xbox 360 headset that felt very cheap. However, even though the quality of the headphones have gotten better, the earmuffs themselves are very hard and not forgiving. So I think you'll definitely have a little bit of ear fatigue over a long gaming session and at the price point that these are valued at, I think you can find other brands around that same price point with better quality and softer earmuffs. But if you're just looking for something cheap to give to the kid who just might destroy a pair of headphones, buy these!

I returned some Astro A10 headphones because the earcups were too small and got these instead. These are much better. They are ACTUAL circumaural aka over ear headphones. The earcups are big enough to fit around your ears, at least for me as a 39 year old male. An older person with large ears may not have the same experience. The sound quality is also very good, I would even consider these monitors. There isn't any hint of boominess or artificial quality to the sound, the sound is just natural. I think the word is "transparent". What would make these better is an open back design so you could hear outside sound and your own voice when speaking, but that is hard to find. The killer feature is the entire right side is a volume knob, and it turns through a large range so you have very fine control over volume. Almost all other headphones have a tiny knob on the cable. I've had several headphones, mostly Sennheiser, and I recommend these as a great budget alternative!

I love these and use them on my PlayStation, Xbox and PC. I’ve had 3 pairs because my cats have chewed through the cords and will buy another if they do it again. Favorite headset that I’ve owned. Honestly better sound quality than some studio level headphones.

Good quality not the best but for the price not bad. The wire on mine is the only flaw as i have to turn it to get better sound for my buddy in chat. But i would recommend these for sure
