The volume was poor, and even after adjustments, the bass was overwhelming

Could Have Been Good

The wireless version has glowing remarks, but I was looking for a cheaper wired alternative. Unfortunately, this headset has really bad sound. It’s muddy, the bass drowns out all the mids, and the highs are tinny. Tried using the Dolby Atmos software to even out the V shaped sound, but it’s just not an enjoyable experience. There are plenty of options for headsets in this price range that’ll get the job done. Pass on these.

Do not recommend

Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've owned two different versions of the this headset neither lasted more than a week, both were wired one 20 year anniversary edition other standard, the mic didn't work on the anniversary edition straight out of the box decided to buy a normal one. Give it one more shot. After 5 days the same thing happened.
