I've gone through 2 of these adapters and BOTH of them have stopped working. The first one I had worked flawlessly for a few months or so. Then it started randomly disconnecting, and the light on the adapter itself would turn off. I had to unplug and plug it back in, turn off and back on my controller, and re-sync it. It started happening every few minutes which made it unplayable. So I decided to buy a second one since mine surely must be defective. NOPE. The second one has the exact same issues and is even worse! I read through tons of stories of people having the same issue, messed with countless windows settings to no avail. (Also I know my controller isn't the issue, this has happened with multiple controllers all of which work fine elsewhere.) Will definitely be buying a different adapter. Horrible product.

when it works it works great, but it seems like we have to eject it and plug it back in t get it to talk to the controller almost every time we play.

Short warranty. Stopped working correctly pretty quickly; would lose connection and bed to be removed and reinserted to get it to work after a few months. Now I am at 9 months and it won't connect and gives errors when trying to install. There are no drivers easily accessible, as this is supposed to be an automatic install with windows 10.

Don't waist your money. I don't know if I received a defective product but this is horrible. Pairing is a mess omg so stressful trying to pair it with my Xbox Wireless Headset and even a control that's meant for the Xbox and the PC. Very disappointed and do not recommend.

Gave out after 6 months. I shouldn't even need to use this for my Elite 2 but since the 5ghz connection interferes with my 5ghz Wifi I HAD to buy it. Needing to buy a $25 dollar adapter for a $180 controller is absurd.

    Rampant Audio Signal Defect

Serious widespread problems with wireless audio transmission. On paper this allows you to plug your headset into your Xbox controller like you would with a console, or use an Xbox wireless headset, but the audio quality is horrible, constantly dropping and cutting out many parts of the sounds you should be receiving, it is severe. Go check out the Microsoft support forums, everyone who has bought this item has this problem and it hasn't been fixed for years now. DO NOT BUY THIS FOR THE WIRELESS AUDIO FEATURE. I use mine for having a wireless controller and use the Xbox chat headset as a mic only, and have to keep my audio output going through the speakers or a separately wired headset.

This is meant so you can use an Xbox controller to stream Xbox games on your PC. I experienced some connection issues with getting it set up, and would frequently drop out on me. If you have to use a controller on a PC, I’d recommend going wired.
