Bluetooth in my motherboard works better. Not easy to use.

Why isn't the Microsoft controller compatible with a Microsoft O.S.

Can not get it to work will be taking it back.....

Frequently disconnects whenever i am playing games.

Not compatible with mac, we learned this the hard way.

Had connection issues and ultimately returned it for a basic charging cable.

Item died on me today, 1/25/2020, I bought it in Oct over 2020. I would hope it would last me longer than 4 months. I would expect at least a years worth of life. While it was running it worked smooth.

Works as intended. Took a bit to set up but everything is fine now

Been using this for some months now, and for the last month or so it will randomly disconnect me from my controller in the middle of the game. Very disappointing, got this specifically so I wouldn't have to use a wired connection or a bluetooth.

Even though it’s Microsoft branded doesn’t mean it’s the best. Only lasted me 7 months and then deaded itself till I had to call Microsoft for replacement and even then it wasn’t easy. Save your money and stick to wired

A lot of connectivity issues, doesnt always connect on first attempt and will drop connection while gaming. Using windows computer, and Microsoft controller, had to switch over to wired connection.

I have owned two of these adapters one being the older version which was significantly larger. It worked reliably for a few months and then started disconnecting during game play. After that model I waited while before I purchased a newer model. Unfortunately this model adapter has the same issue, It stopped working a few months after purchase It constantly disconnects from my controllers one of them a brand new elite controller. Its not really fun to have your controller disconnect on you while you're in a heated gaming session for no apparent reason. This will be the last adapter I purchase.

Purchased this for use with a wireless xbox controller, and the adapter inside the box was clearly not packaged as it should have been. No wire tie on the extension cable while the bends in the cable show it was tightly bound at some point, and the peel off tabs on the adapter to keep it from getting scratched in transit were not on the adapter and were just in the compartment behind it (with the cable). Be wary of ordering from here as you could receive a used/repackaged product being resold as new. Haven't tested the functionality of the product yet, but just sharing my experience from ordering online.

Terrible product, I troubleshooted for days before giving up, the device will blink once or twice before turning off not even attempting to pair

I think its connection isn't as steady as it would be to an xbox, but decent for someone who's trying to turn their pc into a console

Inconsistent with staying connected to the controller. Most of the time it won't pair with it. Past return period. Waste of money.

I cannot recommend this product. It simply did not work when I plugged it into my computer, which has Windows 10 and no problems. For whatever reason Windows 10 would not install the needed driver and I could not figure out how to install the driver manually. I Googled fixes and found out that the problems with this adapter have been experienced by many others.

buyer's remorse but ymmv bought this to reduce strain on my one Bluetooth dongle cuts out all the time
