broken when i bought it could not believe it was DOA.

The Bluetooth on my pc wasn’t great and this made the connection way better

Love it, it does what it supposed to do. I´m using it very close to my controller in my PC, I haven’t use it from a long distance but for my necessities it does what I need. Was hard to find but was worth the search.

For those wondering, yes, it works with Rock Band 4 instruments if you install the correct drivers and software. Note: I have the MadCatz instruments so I'm not sure if the Pdp instruments work.

This adapter, like another reviewer stated, was great while it worked. After 4 months, the adapter was not recognized by the computer. X-Box tells us the adapters are only under warranty for 90 days and it broke shortly thereafter, after very little use! It was suggested the game be deleted and reloaded again in case there was a "driver error" causing the computer's failure to recognize the adapter. That solution did not work. $25 is too expensive to purchase any product that will only last 4 months. I wonder how many of the reviewers who wrote it was excellent actually had it fail shortly after warranty. If we could give less than one star, we would.

I consider this adapter to be pretty much essential if you want to use a wireless XBox controller with your PC. Input delay and overall stability is far better than any Bluetooth adapter I've tried. It just plain works, and works well.

Adapter works good... Setting it up was a pain. Computer would not recognize the adapter itself and install the driver. Searched for a couple hours to find a solution. Was finally able to find a copy of the driver after reading multiple articles. Once I manually installed the driver through driver update it worked! Seems like a common enough problem to have multiple threads across many different forums. Microsoft needs to add driver to their website so you can easily download. Glad to see others here are not having as much of an issue.

Best alternative option for any controller based game

Lasted one year then died. PC was unable to activate drivers and detected as "XBOX ACC". Microsoft support told me it's a faulty adapter. Warranty for the wireless adapter is only 3 months.

Mine only lasted for about 2 month of occasional use. Light doesn' t come on at all. Tried on different computers. I think it's dead lol
