Need if want wireless connection

It works flawlessly with no interference issues. If you're fine with wired connection, it is not needed but definitely prefer it over bluetooth. Due to the way MS used bluetooth in the controllers there is a lot of interference.

A must buy for use on a PC!

I was a bit skeptical at first and wasn't sure if this adapter would fix the problems but I am happy to say it works great! Low input lag, Almost instantly connects the controller upon powering it up. Go for it.

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.official xbox controllers say they work with bluetooth but thats hit or miss and when you are in Halo pvp multiplayer you need to hit. this stick plugs in, and thats in. win 10 does its thing and all you have to do press the X on your controller and you're good to go and its always 100%.

It was an absolutely need on my end for ton of connections I have on my PC. It’s super easy to set up and pair your controller in one sitting. The doggie doesn’t feel very well made and includes some cable and protection for male port.

Fixed problems with XS controller and PC

I was having game-specific connectivity issues with an Xbox SX controller, and this fixed it. It would work wireless for some games but not others. If you're having issues with your Xbox controller linking with a PC, give this a shot. It should cure what ails ya!
