Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It's a shame with all the advanced wireless adaptors that are in the latest Tech we still have silly Microsoft forcing us to buy their "proprietary" BT adapter in order to use their products. I have the XBOX ELITE controller($150) that I wanted to connect to my Alienware m17 ($2800)Laptop to play Division2. My laptop has a very good BT network adapter, and I assume the ELITE controller has a decent BT adapter in it. Hardware wise I dont see why the two cant pair. It would also be more practical because i wouldn't have a long dongle pertruding on the side of my laptop that can potentially be bent or broken. I know this adapter isnt expensive especially compared to my other gear. However it's a matter of principle. Come on Microsoft..unlock the software so we can sync YOUR console controller to YOUR Operating System without a dongle. Is that to much to ask for? :-/
