Love this. It's much better than the previous version. It takes up less space and isnt as noticable. Works even better than the previous version too. Syncs right away and I do not have to keep messing with it to rsync literally works everytime I use it well

Works awesome. Everything I wanted and a bag of chips. Got this to go wireless for my Xbox one controller. Connectivity is super quick and seamless. Automatic setup with my Windows10 Rig. Not much else to say!

A great thing to have if you play PC games with an Xbox controller. It pairs with a controller quickly and maintains a reliable connection. $25 seemed like a steep price, but I don't regret buying one.

This works great! I use it on my PC so i can play games from my bed. Almost 0 latency, great range, easy to use, and automatically installs needed drivers to each pc it's plugged into. Couldn't be happier with it!

For those wondering you hook this into an open usb slot on your computer and it syncs with an Xbox One controller allowing you to use it. I had terrible Bluetooth on my pc and this actually works! It turns your computer into an Xbox!!

Saved me alot of headaches on Final Fantasy 7 remake PC with the newer x series controller on windows 11. While the game runs fine with the older xbox one controller, it's very buggy with the newer x series controller. Now I have it hooked up via blue-tooth and this only happens in FF 7 remake on the Epic store version. It doesn't happen to any other games. The game or windows 11 keep cutting out the x series controller and you can't use the controller anymore. The only fix was to take out the battery and reinsert it. That was until I got this adaptor and the problem went away. For me the $25 was worth the price of not having to deal with this issue on windows 11.

It took Microsoft a couple of tries to get the xinput (Xbox controller on Windows via Xbox wireless protocol) to be a decent device. The original was released with the 360 and was pretty large. The second was released with the Xbox one and it was almost the size of an m.2 SSD. It was so large that inevitably the USB A connector would bend until something broke. This was mostly because they put the sync button on the side. Then a few months to a year later they released this updated model which is smaller than the average thumb drive and you sync with anything Xbox by pushing the end straight in towards the PC. So despite fixing a major design flaw by shrinking it and moving the button I still suggest holding it by pinching near the base while pushing the button. One great thing about this is it allows you to sync controllers and (certain) headphones to 2 devices at once. You can sync via the Xbox protocol (think Microsoft's version of Logitech lightspeed but even lower latency) and then also sync using Bluetooth to another device. So for example I have a headset & controller that uses this to sync with my PC then I also have them both connected to my phone via Bluetooth. The reason to use this over Bluetooth is range and latency. The Xbox controller protocol is somehow under 1ms. In the 360 era where it debuted it was 1ms at 20 feet. They enhanced it with the Xbox one s release to be just shy of 1ms which is... Amazing. It also has a range of about 30-40 feet. The protocol also has plenty of bandwidth so you can receive high bitrate audio with meta data needed to handle Dolby Atmos, DTS:X or Windows Sonic. All 3 are 3d audio codecs with Atmos being the best overall followed by DTS:X then Sonic. Win Sonic is by no means bad, you can definitely tell it's 3d audio and it works quite well and is very comparable to the PlayStation 5's 3d audio via Sony's Pulse 3d Headphones. If you want to step up to better quality 3d audio over stereo then you have to spend $10-20 to unlock a lifetime license to the Atmos codec and it will work on both the Xbox & PC using that 1 license. It will actually be available on any Xbox or PC you sign into which is nice. So this adapter is a great deal. It gives you the ability to sync 8 controllers all at the same time along with headphones. Of course I don't know of any games that use 8 controllers at the same time so chances are Microsoft built extra bandwidth in for future improvements like they did the 360 wireless dongle when they upgraded chat audio from FM radio quality to analog Phone quality (mic depending on course). They upgraded voice quality again with this and with a good mic it will sound really good but... Most headsets don't have good mics so mileage will vary there. Regardless you can't go wrong with this. More simultaneous connections than Bluetooth, better range, more bandwidth, less susceptible to interference and the lowest wireless input latency currently available regardless of device. So even if your PC has Bluetooth I still recommend this. In fact I just bought a 2nd one to use with my laptop.

I was using the old big and blocky wireless adapter for an Xbox One controller for my PC but it always had problems with unreliability and I'd eventually have to just connect it with a cable. THIS adapter has been rock solid and dependable. I just turn on my controller, it connects and it works regardless of what's going on on my computer. I can connect it in the middle of playing, before starting the game, in Steam Big Screen Mode or launching the game outside steam from the computer. It has worked in every scenario. Make sure to buy this updated adapter and NOT the bigger blocky one.

Use this over bluetooth. It definitely comes at a premium but the quality holds up. Feels just as fast as if you had the controller connected through a cord and never drops connection or input.

I’ve been using this for a few months, and I have to say that there’s absolutely no lag that I notice, and I got to cut the cord, which would get in my way constantly. Definitely recommend if you use your controller for pc gaming!

This item works great to connect an Xbox headset to your PC however, I could not get it to pair up with Xbox and PC simultaneously. For 3 days I tried to connect to both at the same time with no luck. It's either Xbox or PC not both. What I ended up doing was pairing my headset with Xbox and connecting via bluetooth to my PC. Nothing wrong with this dongle if all you want is to connect to your PC. I assume my headset (Razer Kaira Pro) is the problem not the Dongle.

Had an Xbox controller that was really unreliable connected to my PC's bluetooth. This made it a plug n play experience. Annoying when the controller says it supports bluetooth? Yes. Nice the solution is painfree Yes.

While it is frustrating that standard Bluetooth dongles don't connect reliably (the newer Xbox controllers are advertised as Bluetooth compatible), this does the trick and provides a reliable, convenient connection. 5*'s for functionality, 2*'s for value as it certainly feels a cash grab by Microsoft.
