The drivers installed on their own on the first connection. After the initial connection to the controllers, I don't have to do anything other than turn on the controllers when I want to use it. I use it from around 10 ft away and no drops in connection. I haven't tested for further though.

Works perfectly for my Xbox one controller with PC. Never had any issues with connectivity or lag.

This adapter works as advertised and allowed me to use my xbox one controller with my PC without wires.

Xbox controllers are commonly a prefered input device for virtual reality, but we already have enough wires so this is a very welcome accessory from Microsoft. As a PC gamer, I'm not sure I'll use the controller a lot otherwise so the value is limited to VR for me, but the impact there is huge. I almost want to dock it a star due to the size of the dongle (it's big), but they provide a break-out cable to help with that so I'll be forgiving.

I got this for my son's laptop so he could use the wireless controller from the Xbox One.

Wanted to go cordless when playing with my Elite controller. Syncing was no issue, plug it in, and go.

This adapter was very easy to set up. I got it to use with my laptop. I go to gaming conventions a couple of times a year and I hook my laptop up to the hotel room TV so that my friends and I can play the party games I have on my computer using 4 xbox one controllers. Very convenient.

Great product worked perfectly for my pc despite the fact that it was an older product

Needed a new wireless receiver after my Xbox360 Doppler died. Unfortunately those are tough to come by now so had to upgrade to this adapter. Unfortunately it does not work with Xbox360 controllers, so had to pair it with an xbox one controller. This is a money grab tactic by Microsoft, by making it not compatible... however it does work flawless with pc usage. Only reason I'm rating 4 stars is because it is not compatible with the xbox 360 controllers.

The range is excellent by its self, and it comes with a two foot extension cable if you need it.

I wish it was cheaper, but it works fine. It is a little on the big side compared to other modern usb dongles.

After waiting for what seemed to be an eternity for this adapter, i can finally lay my old xbox 360 wireless dongle to rest. Does exactly what it is supposed to with no hiccups whatsoever! Highly recommend for those that a) are on windows 10 (only downside if you can call it that as it only works on 10) and b) want to use your xbox one devices on pc. Very simple plug and play, and press and sync, VOILA! Hope this helps!
