This can be done through the xbox home screen. If you don't update you may encounter many issues like input lag, disconnections, and random powering off of the controller.

It works great and he enjoys using it to play games. The red helps keeps the arguments down between him and his oldest brother, they both have their own colored controllers.

I love the rubbery grip on the back. Wasn't a huge fan of the elite, this gives a little of that special touch. It looks sharp and is great to play

These controllers have been on sale all holiday and support Bluetooth for PC and other devices as well. Best Buy is the only store that carries this exclusive color. Controller feels great and buttons are very clicky.
