But controllers break all the time regardless of how new. It won't last more than six months from my experience without having issues. The price is way high too for gaming controllers, if we did not get it during times when they are discounted during black friday or black friday weekend it is almost not worth it.

The main differences being that it has texturing on the buttons, making them feel more tactile. It also has a new share button that so far has done nothing for me. I use mine solely on Pc and it does me very well.
