The front of the controller has a metallic feel. It's looks similar to the original Aqua Blue Nintendo 3ds. The rubber grips don't do anything for me, but the pattern looks nice and is unique to each individual version of this controller.

I don’t understand why the whole controller can’t be blue. I really don’t like the white on the underside. Everything else about this controller is great tho.
