It’s the same controller it has been for years now, without any meaningful upgrades from Microsoft. So if all the tooling, components, and up-stream design investments have all been paid off, why does it still cost what it does? And why no Hall effect or TMR analog stick sensors in 2025-2026? If not for the proprietary wireless protocol, and my loathing for usb wireless adapters with their slow polling rates, I would go third party.

Most comfortable controller of the gaming systems. Still uses batteries, but can buy rechargeable kits separately.

For whatever reason, this controller will not stay powered on. Though it was maybe my battery packs so I swapped to fresh batteries, same my happened. Changed those batteries for others and the same thing happened yet again. Poor experience but also still recommend this overall because I know it was a weird glitch.

My wife loves the colors and the grips on the back.

For reference, I purchased this controller for my PC so I don't know how this review will act differently on Xbox consoles. The texture and grip of this controller is great! I don't know if it's any different from the Xbox One versions, but it really has a anti-slip feel to it. Buttons and movements have a nice feel and response to it. I don't like the fact it's not rechargeable (the other competition has built in batteries for the same price!) so I bought the rechargeable battery for it. Charging the controller (via PC or stand alone charger) with the rechargeable battery, when it's off, it vibrates but doesn't have any indicator light to tell me if charging or not. With the controller on and charging thru the PC, the Xbox logo will become solid but won't turn off when it's done. Turned on and charging with stand alone charge, the logo will blink the whole time and I can't tell when it's done either. Pro: - Awesome grip - Buttons and sticks has excellent response and feedback Cons: - Doesn't have a built in battery - Indicator issues when charging with rechargeable battery

Awesome new controller for the Xbox series X or original Xbox but works great for both. Would recommend this to a friend absolutely. Added grips to the controller and love how it feels.

Feels great in my hands, the textured back and triggers provide a more premium feel than a regular Xbox One controller. Only downside is that it’s almost infinitesimally smaller, but you can’t really notice it, and you may occasionally hit the new share button by accident a few times. Overall, a good controller.

Great pretty durable .. lasting longer then all the others before it

Great controller and I love Best Buy always have since a little kid still gives great vibes. I miss the dvd and cd section.

Great controller. Still wasnt familiar with x box controller al, always used playstation controller. Just not able to understand push buttons. But really great controller.

The controller is really good. I really liked that color. It feels good when you play. I really love this controller. It's one of my favorites. I recommend it
