It will connect to my Xbox and my pc but will disconnect after 5 minutes. I got it to replace an older controller I didn’t use and I can’t use this one anymore.

We're sorry that there's an issue with the connection on your Xbox wireless controller with your Xbox console and Windows 10 PC. If you are still experiencing this issue please ensure you have the latest service update for Windows. You can find available Windows updates by going to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > Check for Updates on your Windows 10 PC. In some cases, there may be a button that says “View optional updates”, and you may be required to click there to find the update.
Once that is complete you will also need to make sure the controller firmware is up to date by checking for additional updates within the Xbox Accessories app. If you continue to experience a problem, please check with our team at Xbox Support for assistance here: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/hardware-network/controller/wireless-controller-solution
