Great color, but broke after 2 months

It literally stopped working 2 months after purchase. I’m not sure what happened but I was bummed when it just stopped working. Great color though!

Warrantied another carbon black Xbox controller on Sept. 2nd 2023 and sound was erratic from the start and continued to get worse as time went on. Returned on Oct. 5th 2023 and received a new controller under warranty and everything was peachy until today, Nov. 14th 2023. Yep, same sound distortion and disconnecting on and off. This is getting expensive, even with the warranty. 3 controllers within 3 months, Billy Gates himself can't deny these controllers are trash. Did Best Buy get defective controllers, because I get at least a year from the controllers at Gamestop and never with an audio issue... Hmmm

I’m giving it 2 stars however because when I try using it on PC it will randomly disconnect and then reconnect during games. I have tried so many fixes and used on separate PCs but the issue persists. This is my 2nd controller that I have had issues with so I’m pretty sure it’s software to blame.

We're sorry that there's an issue using your new Xbox wireless controller with Windows 10 PC through Bluetooth. If you are still experiencing this issue please ensure you have the latest service update for Windows. You can find available Windows updates by going to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > Check for Updates on your Windows 10 PC. In some cases, there may be a button that says “View optional updates”, and you may be required to click there to find the update.

The joystick buttons are smooth and precise, and the inputs don't lag. The only annoyance I had is that it did not come with a charging cord despite having the charging port and being capable (tested with a cord from another controller).
