This is by no means a step up from the Series X controller that comes included with the Xbox Series X console, but it has rubber grips on it that make it feel way more premium than the standard black xbox series x controller. I do wish it didn't cost a bit more to have rubber grips on it, but it's still nice.

My only complaint would be that if you are an larger adult, then the controller may hurt your hands after hours of play.

The record button is pointless and I find myself hitting it accidentally quite often. The new D pad is nice. Will see how it holds up over time.
