||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Its a controller :) that's designed to work with all generations of Xbox one. Meaning Xbox One, Xbox One S, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X as well as PC provided you have the adaptor or Bluetooth support built in. The Bluetooth works on any device that has Bluetooth built in. Laptop, tablet, phone and pc. The D Pad has been redesignedd better for multi directional use (fighting games) instead of traditional up/down/left/right usage. Kinda shaped like a plate with edges. The actual size of the controller is a fraction smaller. Good for kids or if you have small hands. The bumpers/triggers and back of it are textured for a better grip instead of it being smooth. Bumpers are a matte black instead of glossy. Helps with long play sessions and sweaty hands. Has a built in 3.5mm headphone jack so you can plug in any headset and use them for game audio and chat, provided your headset has a mic. Also has a updated type C connector for charging and syncing instead of the outdated Micro USB so you can use more modern chargers. The battery pack is replaceable so you can buy a rechargeable battery pack or use rechargable AA batteries to save money and help the environment. Now the reason for the title of my review. There is a known issue as of writing this review. The issue is that the newer models of the controller have issues with random disconnects, buttons registering being pressed and so on. Microsoft knows about this and is working on a software fix for this. No known ETA as to when this will be fixed. My unit has no issues except for the A button not registering if I push it to fast. I'm sure this will be fixed in a near future software update. You can test button functions within the Xbox accessories app on the system to see if any buttons are having issues registering. This issue is worse in another unit that I purchased back in November. That unit has random disconnects with the system but says it's connected still. If your controller doesn't work right either take it back for a exchange WITHIN the standard 15 day policy or within the 2 year extended warranty (sold separately). If you're going to buy the newer models just use caution and be prepared for possible issues. Otherwise the controllers are great in design, they work as intended and build quality is always solid with Microsofts 1st party products. I'd recommend buying the GSP (warranty). It covers you for 2 years, covers normal wear and tear and accidentally breaking it. So instead of paying another $60+ on a new controller, just take it to a local best buy and they'll swap it out for another one of the same unit or comparable or worst case scenario store credit. I've had all my controllers through best buy because of this warranty. Works great for hardcore gamers who go through 1 controller a year. I highly recommend it.

Xbox Controller
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It works great, feels greater and was easy to find and buy. Beautiful solid color, no product defects and I think it feels great on the grip. Works beautifully on my Xbox and reminds me why I only have to buy a new one every so often. (If you like to customize them like I do, it’s also super easy to take apart and change parts.)

A domain of pixel and code expertly crafted to provide a shopping experience that is nothing short of magical! My adventure culminated in the acquisition of a marvel of modern engineering: the Xbox Controller. This is not merely a piece of gaming equipment. It wasn't just shopping; it was a voyage of discovery, lit by the twinkling stars of thousands of products each waiting to enhance my life in its unique way. The product categorization is intuitive, making it feel like I had a star map guiding me directly towards my heart's desire. In this case, the Xbox controller, a true Polaris in my gaming constellation. And oh, the Xbox controller itself! It rests in my hands like it was born there, the product of years of ergonomic research, creating a symphony of comfort, style, and functionality. The buttons respond with a satisfying click, each press a harmonious note in the grand orchestra of gameplay. Every joystick movement is smooth, translating my every intention into on-screen action with mind-blowing precision. But the real magic of this Xbox controller comes alive when the lights dim. The sensory feedback is as detailed as a Beethoven symphony, creating an immersive, tangible extension of the game world right in the palm of your hands. There's something ethereal about feeling the virtual raindrops patter against your in-game character, or the heart-thumping vibrations of a racing car engine. It's not just playing a game; it's living it. Back to Best Buy. Their swift delivery was as punctual as a Swiss watch, the packaging sturdy and secure, ensuring my shiny new controller arrived in pristine condition. The follow-up customer service was the cherry on top, their representatives radiating a sincerity and warmth that made me feel valued. It's clear they don't just sell products; they sell experiences. So, whether you're a hardened gamer seeking the next addition to your gaming arsenal or a newbie taking your first steps into the luminous universe of gaming, journey to Best Buy. It's a swirling galaxy of high-quality products, amazing prices, and customer service that's out of this world. But most importantly, it's the place where I found my Xbox controller, my conduit to boundless adventure and joy. In the cosmic ballet of online shopping, Best Buy pirouettes with unparalleled grace. And in the grand orchestra of gaming, the Xbox controller hits a resounding crescendo. Together, they've composed a symphony that I'll be playing on repeat.

Best console controller yet.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. One of the best console controllers Xbox could’ve created or recreated. The static grip on the triggers and down the palm grips are great especially for gameplay; sweaty hands won’t slip. Including the series x controller supports wireless battery charging. No more expensive double AA batteries. The original Xbox one controllers do not support self charging as the battery charger holder doesn’t fit on the originals ( ONLY SERIES X ). The Xbox controller home button is not bright.. it’s much more dim than the last Gen Xbox one controller because it’s a matte gray instead of the bright clear white Xbox symbol. The screenshot and record button is interesting; still getting used to how it works.. At first I thought it was a pause button or another menu button but a pretty guud integration. Including I sometimes accidentally keep pressing the button and screenshoting random gameplay captures. Overall a really guud controller. Personally better than ps5 controller.

Amazing!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was my very first time buying a controller, and I wasn’t sure how good it was going to be since the last one I held was a few years ago from an Xbox 360. However this has definitely far exceeded my expectations, the grip is amazing and so are the haptics. It feels very premium despite being very low-priced (for Black Friday). Definitely a must buy! Photos are after a few months of use

Good durable controller no drifting
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's official Xbox controller so it has a little bit more quality than the other brands (in my opinion) But I always suggest getting a warranty for your controllers because drifting is inevitable. Eventually you have to replace them.

It feels incredibly comfortable, with textured grips and smooth thumbsticks, making it perfect for long gaming sessions. Practical controller at a good price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m almost completing a year of frequent use with this controller and it has shown excellent durability. I got it at a great price and also received 1 month of Game Pass Ultimate. I like the fact that I can simply put rechargeable batteries in it over and over again.

Quality has gone downhill.
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. They don’t make them like they used to do anymore. I have had this controller now for 3 months and the sticks drift uncontrollably, the buttons stick and this controller has been kept in excellent condition as you can see from the photos I’ve shared. My last controller lasted well over a year and before that one they lasted just about as long as the console did. They just don’t seem to be using quality parts any longer. Might as well start buying the cheapest ones because more than likely they will need replacing sooner than later now days.

Xbox makes the best controllers!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This a great controller. Well worth the money, yea Microsoft didn't change much, but they didn't have to. If it ain't broke dont fix it. They added textured grips, a share button and an enhanced D-pad. Other than that, its the same controller. Idk if its just me or what, but this controller feels more durable than previous models also. I guess just because its new, but whatever. Well worth $60 and its a steal at $40 for black Friday. Which i would have waited a couple more days. Could have saved $20 but im not too mad about it. Get one now !!!

(Carbon Black) XBox One controller.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am fortunate to have a BestBuy near me (walking distance), so whenever I am in need of a new XBox controller its no problem. The movement sticks usually go out after a number of years and continuously play. So id say... maybe every 6 mos to a year I'll need a new one. I usually wait for black friday or cyber Monday to get a good price and get 2-3 one as the replacement and the others as backups.

Standard controller
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a standard Xbox/sx controller. Syncs well to phone and pc. Comes with 2 AA batteries but I use the rechargable kind. Works great with packs too. Runs newest software. It's a slightly updated design with a embossed grip around the bottom handle parts (not rubber but more like etched). If you want a durable and no fuss controller, this is it.
