Dead after only 1 year of very light use...

Worked fine and all while it lasted but suddenly just died one day during normal use. Virtually no damage to the outside, tested reset troubleshooting, batties, USC-C connection, etc. It just ceased to work just because. Neither microsoft nor Best Buy offer any out of warranty repairs so you're just stuck with this expensive controller that no one will fix for less than what it costs brand new. I have 5 other controllers like it (different colors) working just fine but I guess this red one just happened to be cursed.

I went to Best Buy to request an exchange and they were going to charge me the difference between the sale price I purchased at and regular retail price. This seems like poor practice.

If you are still experiencing this issue please ensure you have the latest service update for Windows. You can find available Windows updates by going to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > Check for Updates on your Windows 10 PC. In some cases, there may be a button that says “View optional updates”, and you may be required to click there to find the update.

Great controller but my right trigger broke

I really like the matte finish on the controller compared to the glossy finish on the controller that came with my series s. But my right trigger has already broken which is very unfortunate. It still works but it doesn’t work like the left trigger.

It is not usable for the game unless it’s plugged in. The Bluetooth is horrible. It disconnects every three min. I have verified every driver is updated, Xbox software is installed. Makes this unusable for what I bought it for. I like wireless not being tied to the pc.

Horrible shipping, no improvement to controller
