For this reason we buy these controllers a little too often. If they are covered by total tech we will cash in before one year.

I love the new grips that they added to the controller and so does my son! I definitely recommend purchasing this!

It also has some textured rubber grips to enhance the hold. I bought it due to having an aftermarket skin on my Series X that is a color swap purple blue. Of course Microsoft wants to make sure they get every nickel they can from their consumer and charge extra for this controller.

It lasted a year until the left joystick stated acting weird. It would be nice to get more than a year out of a “legitimate “ product that costs a good amount.
