Very Reliable Controller
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The white Xbox One controller has been great for me. I really like the clean, simple look, and it feels comfortable in my hands even during long gaming sessions. The textured back helps with grip, and the sticks and triggers feel smooth and responsive—especially in racing and shooter games. The wireless connection has been solid with basically no lag, and the battery life has been reliable whether I’m using AAs or a rechargeable pack. It might not have some of the newer features found on the Xbox Series controllers, but it’s still a durable, dependable controller that works perfectly on my Xbox and PC. Overall, I’m really happy with it.

Didn't fix what wasn't broken.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Feels just as comfortable as the 360 controller, which was nearly perfect in terms of ergonomics. Controller basically only features minor updates. D-pad has been greatly improved. With easier diagonals and a much more satisfying click feedback. Sticks have a more recessed center and better grip on edges. Controller grip is more heavily textured and less slippery, shoulder buttons feel better, triggers are smoother and have a slightly shorter travel and softer feel. There is now an extra share button. Works great on Windows 10 as a gamepad. Connected quickly and easily to my computer's built-in bluetooth, no need for some wonky external adapter like the 360 controller. Had some problems with disconnects at first but those seem to be fixed after updating the controller. (Download the Xbox Accessories app from the windows store, plug the controller in, and update it. Or just plug it into an Xbox). Basically, if you liked the 360 controller but had some complaints about it, this is probably what you were asking for. They apparently have some drift issues (like everyone else) and are involved in a class action suit, but only time will tell if it becomes an issue for me and when. Love the color, hope they continue to add more options down the line, would love a dark purple.

Very good product but shame about the battery
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Set up was easy (for both a direct connection to Windows as well as via Parsec for remote gaming). Feel in the hand is good (grippy but not too rough). Sticks, triggers and buttons have the right amount of resistance. Would have been 5 stars if it had come standard with the rechargeable battery pack instead of being an optional extra (but I bought that anyway to spare myself the chore of swapping and tossing AA batteries into a landfill). Really, that's more of a 1/2 star penalty. So my rating is more like 4.5 stars

||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Quality: The build quality of the Microsoft Xbox Wireless Controller is exceptional. From the moment you pick it up, you can feel the sturdiness and durability. The materials used are top-notch, providing a premium tactile experience. The buttons are responsive, the triggers have a satisfying resistance, and the overall construction suggests longevity. It's evident that Microsoft has paid attention to the details, resulting in a controller that feels robust and well-crafted. Features: Wireless Connectivity: The seamless wireless connectivity is a game-changer. Whether gaming on an Xbox console or connecting to a Windows PC via Bluetooth, the controller maintains a reliable connection. No more worrying about tangled wires or limited movement. Ergonomic Design: The ergonomic design ensures comfort during long gaming sessions. The controller fits perfectly in your hands, and the button layout is intuitive. The textured grips add to the overall comfort and prevent slipping, even during intense gaming moments. Customization Options: The ability to customize buttons and configurations enhances the gaming experience. Being able to tailor the controller to your preferences adds a personal touch, giving you more control over your gameplay. Price: While the Microsoft Xbox Wireless Controller might be priced slightly higher than some third-party alternatives, the investment is justified. The quality of construction, extensive features, and the Microsoft brand reputation contribute to the overall value. Considering its compatibility with both Xbox consoles and Windows PCs, the price becomes reasonable for the versatility and performance it offers. Comparison to Other Products: In a market filled with gaming controllers, the Microsoft Xbox Wireless Controller stands out as a leader. Its build quality surpasses many competitors, ensuring a reliable and satisfying gaming experience. While there are more affordable options available, they often compromise on durability and features. The Xbox controller strikes a balance, providing a premium feel without breaking the bank. Conclusion: The Microsoft Xbox Wireless Controller remains a frontrunner in its category, excelling in quality, features, and overall user experience. Its durability, wireless capabilities, and thoughtful design make it a worthwhile investment for both casual and serious gamers. While there might be cheaper alternatives, the Xbox controller's blend of reliability and performance positions it as a top choice for those who prioritize a high-quality gaming accessory.

Perfect design, beware of quality issues.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Perfect design in my opinion. Feels a bit better than the Xbox One controller, but very similar. The design is already good so I didn't want a big change. Huge plus for USB-C being the standard now. One star off for quality issues, Xbox controllers are prone to developing drift and other issues. The added cost of Geek Squad protection is unfortunately needed if you plan to avoid buying a new one every two years. This controller I bought has no issues, however I've owned previous controllers that develope drift within a year.

Sky Cipher: Wonderful color and great controller!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The color isn't as blue in real life but I still love it. Controller itself works great! This is my first Xbox controller and I'm using it on PC (previously only used Playstation controllers). Love that I can quickly swap batteries when it dies so I'm always wireless. The only issue I had was after using an Xbox controller for too long in Windows, you may get frame rate drop on the in focus window (putting the window in the background gives it full FPS again). This seems to be an issue with the Windows Bluetooth/Controller stack only for Xbox controllers (ironic seeing as both are Microsoft). Simply restarting the controller fixes the FPS drop.

Excellent So Far
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great cross between a basic and pro controller. It's responsive, weighted well, and also has grips. I'll definitely update when I inevitably drop it to see if it starts having issues similar to the basic controllers or if it has some decent protection. I got the warranty this time too since my basic controller got stick drift after about 5 months.

I love the color
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the exact color i chose to get in Xbox’s design lab. Im just glad i waited and didnt buy it then. I gor this controller on sale for $49.99. That makes it a lot cheaper than the design lab cotrollers. Of course u might think anout going thr design lab route so u can get the rubber grips. DONT! I purchased the elite 1 and 2 controllers and on both of them the rubber grip peeled off of noth if them. I baby all of my stuff including controllers. It appears that when your hand’s sweat the sweat disloves the adhesive holding the rubber grips. Thats why I like the plastic grips with this controller. Its not flat plastic, but has a plastic textured grip.

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What can you say? You can pay full price for them, or you can do what I do and get them Open-Box Excellent and save yourself same change! Being a new color, for those that have been gaming for 30 of their 40 years, it does have a nice color shift depending on its surroundings. My small gaming theatre is set up with nine Hue bulbs Dolby Atmos via the Vizio Elevate centered around a Sony Bravia X85. Like a new controller, you have that initial stiffness of the buttons, which actually like a lot. So yea, if you can ever get a controller $20+ off, just get it. Just keep it boxed and when you other one eventually dies or just reaches EOL then you a brand spankin' new one!
