Owned for 6 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.As far as a reskin for standard Xbox Series X controller goes, the Starfield controller definitely feels like the cream of the crop. It could just be my own bias talking since I spent the extra cash on this controller vs the standard, but the triggers and thumb sticks feel more responsive than the usual controller. Aesthetically, the controller is near perfect. The layout of the controller matches perfectly to the ship controls on Starfield, granted that you can stick with the game long enough to notice. Dissatisfaction with the game aside, the controller itself is probably the single best looking officially licensed Xbox controllers I've ever owned.

Pairs more quickly with consoles and PCs than previous models. Works on Xbox Series X, Xbox One / X, and PC Not a revolutionary re-design, but moves forward all of the core features I want in a controller. D-Pad (Directional Pad) is an improvement over the previous implementation in functionality, though it is more loudly "clicky" than the previous D-Pad. I have had a sporadic issue with the controller disconnecting from PC, and I am hoping this is corrected with a firmware update.

The grips and triggers feel very good and better than other controllers. Also FYI when connected to your series x it gives you a dynamic theme.

All the buttons have a wonderful click that is satisfying to push vs the mushiness of the last one. Like the new grip on the back. Also controller is a bit smaller and fits better in my hands. Like the L1 and R1 as well. Share button is useful when need be. USB C is a welcome addition. Bluetooth on PC works great too.
