You can customize everything - thumbsticks, paddles, buttons etc. It works across Xbox, PC, and mobile devices, and the Xbox Accessories app lets you fine-tune settings.

I have not had that issue with this contoller.

And he is definitely pleased that it charges with the type C usb instead of the micro size.
