Nice controller for PC gaming!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Feels great and plays great! I picked this up because the right bumper of my last controller was busted, but I had a good experience with that so I figured I'd pick up another Xbox controller. This one has a more comfortable grip purely because it's got a vaguely rubbery texture as opposed to just being bumpy plastic, and I like the color a lot more than plain white. I haven't tried it wirelessly yet because I have a cord to plug into my computer, but I'm very satisfied with what I have used. I'm surprised by how much less expensive than the older version it is. I just think it's nicer! I do hope the right bumper holds up against playing Final Fantasy XIV with a controller, though. I think that's what killed my last Xbox controller...

My Favorite of All Time!
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have owned probably every standard version of the Xbox controller that has existed since the 360 was introduced. Xbox is my jam, and this controller is even prettier in person than it is in pictures. I actually wasn't looking for a controller at the time, though I was in need of one, as my controllers I bought alongside my Series X were experiencing drift after a few years. This one caught my eye when I was in Best Buy, and I couldn't walk away! It's so gorgeous. I've had it for well over a year now, and I still seek it out to use exclusively simply because it's so pretty, haha! It's still going strong, even with getting accidentally tossed off the couch here and there (usually by a cat walking near it/shoving it off, lol). And the only reason I recently considered buying a new one was because....you guessed it - I walked by a pink and blue one in BEST BUY and immediately had to start reminding myself I don't need another one.... But, like, they're so fun, and you can never have too many Xbox controllers in my opinion! Oooh, new justification - I need one for my computer and one for my Xbox, haha! *salute* I'll be stopping by soon for that other new one, haha!

Great Controller with Excellent Comfort
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Xbox Series X controller feels amazing in hand. The textured grips and responsive buttons make gaming super comfortable, even during long sessions. The improved D-pad is a nice upgrade, and the share button is convenient for quick screenshots or clips. It’s compatible with multiple devices, including PC, which is a big plus. Battery life is decent, though I wish it came with a rechargeable battery pack. Overall, a solid and reliable controller!

Best bang for your buck controller
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This controller nails it. The Starfield design is clean and unique without being over the top, and the build quality feels premium. Grips are solid, triggers are smooth, and the D-pad has a nice click to it. It’s comfortable for long sessions and looks great in any setup. Feels like a collector’s item, but it’s also super practical — works perfectly across Xbox and Windows, and the wireless connection is rock solid. If you’re into gear that performs and looks sharp, this one’s worth it.

This Controller is the Definition of Cool!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Okay, I’ll be honest—I bought this Xbox Wireless Controller Sky Cipher Special Edition because it looked way cooler than my old one, and I’m not ashamed to admit that I’m a sucker for good design. But once I got it in my hands? Wow. The feel and grip on this thing are so comfortable, it’s like they designed it specifically for me to conquer all my gaming goals (and possibly save the world while I’m at it). The color scheme is sleek and sharp—looks like something you'd see in a futuristic spy movie, and I feel like I should be wearing sunglasses while using it. The textured grips on the back are perfect for sweaty palms during intense moments, and the button layout is exactly what you’d expect from Xbox—intuitive and easy to use. But honestly, the best part is how it fits in your hands. I’ve held controllers in the past that feel too big, too small, or just… off. This one feels like it was custom-built for me. No more cramping after hours of gaming. It’s snug, comfy, and just the right weight. I could hold it for hours without even thinking about it. TL;DR: If you want a controller that looks as cool as it feels, this Sky Cipher Special Edition is the way to go. It’s got style, comfort, and is totally ready to take on whatever game you throw at it.

Great product, but annoying battery system
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Almost a year old, and still working strong. No drift or anything, unlike the ps4 controllers that I'm used to. A little small for my hands, but easy to get used to. Great product, besides the need to buy battery packs that are sold separately... I would like to have had the ability to charge it via USB-C cable right out of the box without buying extra accessories. I made do nonetheless.

Nice Pick Up
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got the deep pink wireless Xbox controller for my Series X, and honestly, it’s just really nice. The color pops without being too loud, and it looks even better in person than in the pictures. It feels good in your hands—sturdy but not too heavy—and the textured grip on the back makes it comfortable to hold for a long time. The buttons and triggers are super responsive, and I haven’t had any connection issues at all. It works great on both my Xbox and my phone when I play on the go. I do wish it came with a rechargeable battery instead of using AAs, but that’s pretty normal for Xbox controllers. Overall, it’s a solid controller that works exactly how you’d want, and the color just makes it way more fun to use.

Great color and use for xbox but on phone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Microsoft Xbox Wireless Controller in Shock Blue is a fantastic addition to any gaming setup. Right out of the box, the vibrant Shock Blue color makes a bold and stylish statement—it’s easily one of the best-looking controllers Microsoft has released. The build quality is excellent, with a comfortable ergonomic design that feels great in hand during long gaming sessions. The textured grips on the back and triggers provide solid control, while the hybrid D-pad is a noticeable improvement over previous generations, offering more precision for directional inputs. Performance-wise, the controller is responsive and consistent across a variety of games. Whether I’m playing fast-paced shooters or more relaxed story-driven titles, the buttons, triggers, and thumbsticks all feel snappy and well-calibrated. The addition of a dedicated Share button is also a nice touch for quickly capturing gameplay clips or screenshots. One of the controller’s biggest strengths is its compatibility. It works seamlessly with Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows PCs, and even mobile devices via Bluetooth. I’ve used it for Xbox Cloud Gaming on both Android and iOS without issues, and the ability to switch between devices is convenient once you get used to the pairing process. My only gripe is the use of AA batteries by default. While it offers good battery life (around 30-40 hours), I would have preferred a built-in rechargeable battery. Thankfully, Microsoft sells a rechargeable battery pack separately, which I’d recommend picking up if you game frequently. Overall, the Shock Blue Xbox Wireless Controller offers a great mix of style, performance, and versatility. It's a solid choice whether you're upgrading from an older controller or just want a unique new color for your setup. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a reliable and great-looking controller and so many colors too.

The button placement is ergonomic and intuitive, allowing for seamless gameplay and easy access to all the necessary controls. In terms of performance, the Xbox Wireless Controller excels. The buttons are highly responsive, providing precise inputs and quick response times. The analog sticks offer smooth movement, which is crucial for accurate aiming and precise control in games. Additionally, the triggers and shoulder buttons have a satisfying click and feel, enhancing the overall gaming experience. One of the standout features of this controller is its wireless connectivity. With an impressive wireless range, you can enjoy gaming from your couch without worrying about annoying cables. The wireless connection is strong and stable, ensuring minimal input lag and uninterrupted gameplay. Furthermore, the controller can be easily paired with your console or PC through Bluetooth, making it versatile and compatible with various gaming platforms. Battery life is another significant advantage of the Xbox Wireless Controller. With a single set of batteries, you can play for hours on end before needing a replacement. Xbox Controller vs Switch Pro Controller for PC
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Introduction I got this controller for PC gaming so that I wouldn't have to deal with connecting my Nintendo Switch Pro Controller every time I feel like playing a game on my computer or the confusion of game UI's not perfectly matching the Switch Controller. Feel The controller works well, but it's slightly less comfortable feeling in the hands than the Switch Pro Controller, though it is nice to have actual triggers, which is what the Xbox Controller has over the Switch Controller. Both feel really comfy in the hands though. The d-pad on the Xbox controller is better for quarter circle inputs than the Switch d-pad, but not by a lot. However I do think the d-pad on the Xbox controller is overall better than the Switch Pro Controller. Price The Xbox Controller is 10$ cheaper than the Switch Pro Controller, however the Xbox Controller does not come with a cable or a rechargeable battery, which is included with the Switch Pro Controller. The rechargeable battery pack + cable costs 25$, so if want both the Controller and rechargeable battery, it costs 15$ more than the Switch Pro Controller, though I suppose at the very least this also means you can replace the rechargeable battery, which isn't possible with the Switch Pro Controller. What the Xbox Controller does come with is 2 AA Batteries, which is what you use if you don't have the rechargeable battery. I wish the controller at the very least came with a cable, since you need one to update the Controller's firmware, but at least on the plus side, the controller uses a usb-c port, so if you didn't get the rechargeable battery pack, but have a spare usb-c cable, you can use that, and yes, it can also be used as a wired controller. Conclusion Despite the price, I do not regret my purchase because now I don't have to resync my Switch Controller anytime I feel like playing a game on my PC, and now there's zero confusion when it comes to figuring out the controls in games. The UI now matches the proper buttons, which is kind of obvious considering how most modern PC games are designed with the Xbox controller in mind.
