Christmas present for my 10 year old. He absolutely loves it and the colors. The controls move smoothly and it was super easy to connect!

The differences between the Xbox One controller and the Series X controller are subtle and mainly come down to quality of life improvements. The D-Pad is more refined and the stippling on the underside makes for a more pleasant grip. At the same price as the Xbox one controllers, it isn't worth upgrading, but it is worth getting instead of the earlier model.

These controllers always work well within the first few months. Time will tell if the thumb sticks hold up to an 8 year old. Only con I for sure can say is I was a little disappointed that the new style does not allow for the previous style rechargeable battery to fit with the cover. Can still fit the battery itself, but the protective cover (that came with the rechargeable batt) has different clips. Oh well. Still rather use it than replacing AA every few weeks.

First, I love the colors of this controller. Second, its texture and shape make it so easy for me to hold. A lot of controllers make my hands cramp, but this is perfect!

It was everything I wanted and more! It’s very similar to the controller that came with my Xbox Series X, but green! Tactile feel is great, it’s comfortable to use, and brightly coloured. In other words, perfect!

Being able to have a good stable controller is always needed. When games go bad it can withhold the throwing and constant abuse.

Very solid evolution of the previous go-to controller for console and PC gaming. Pairs more quickly with consoles and PCs than previous models. Works on Xbox Series X, Xbox One / X, and PC Not a revolutionary re-design, but moves forward all of the core features I want in a controller. D-Pad (Directional Pad) is an improvement over the previous implementation in functionality, though it is more loudly "clicky" than the previous D-Pad. I have had a sporadic issue with the controller disconnecting from PC, and I am hoping this is corrected with a firmware update.
