I love the color. but, The QC issues with this controller like every other is still a problem. The first one I purchased elsewhere, Had Stickdrift within the first 3 months. (Left analog) The company I purchased it thu offered a warranty for 3 years for only $8. Including Accidental damage. I was able to secure a full refund. Now opening this one, I fear the same will happen under normal use. The bad thing, BestBuy not offering any warranty other than the 30day return window. Sure you could grab the ridiculously expensive Geek Squad protection. But not worth it in my opinion. All in all I would buy elsewhere.

With clear triggers you can see the vibration motors. My main issue with the controller is the rubber grips on the back. I prefer the textured plastic on the normal Xbox Series controllers and years down the line this controller will be plagued by rubber reversion.

The feel is just the same as I remembered when I last played and Xbox which was the 360. The rumble works great. And the controller size is perfect for adults and child size hands. My 5yr old can use it too without any issue.

I was thinking of exchanging it but just accepted the fact that the new controller may have another issue. This is my second controller in 13 months.

I have smaller hands so it fits better than the previous models. The lag when I use it wirelessly is minimal. The D Pad redesign is very aesthetically pleasing which brings me to my only con. The D Pad redesign makes games like Apex annoying for some reason it doesnt really recognize the button press most times when scrolling through the ping/supply menu.

Great but disconnects when synced to PC

However I play on PC and I usually use my Xbox controllers to sync it via bluetooth. But for some reason this new controller disconnects every 5 to 10 minutes. I returned it. Hopefully there's a patch update to where it doesn't disconnect from PC like the older model controllers.

To help avoid this problem in the future, please ensure you have the latest service update for Windows. You can find available Windows updates by going to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > Check for Updates on your Windows 10 PC. In some cases, there may be a button that says “View optional updates”, and you may be required to click there to find the update.
