This is the first of two next gen controllers bought both from Best Buy about 5 months apart. Both have connectivity issues. This one took about 2 weeks to start malfunctioning maybe. The second was giving me fits right out of the box. This is a known issue and Microsoft says they are working on a fix but nothing has helped me yet on either pc or console. It’s worth noting that when hardwired using the usb-c port (which is sturdy thank god unlike the micro usb of all previous models) the controller functions 100% correct with no issues or interruptions. I know it’s not Best Buy’s fault but I wish they would warn prospective buyers and maybe give them the option of purchasing a previous model knowing that they are at least going to work (maybe lol) as what they are supposed to be- a wireless controller. This is something I would consider if I were using primarily on console and didn’t have say a 10 or 18 (whichever is necessary) foot usb cable to sit on the living room couch and play Xbox.
