In most angles it looks like a solid color but if you’re displaying it, expect it to be the center of attention

Great but battery flaws

Owned for 3 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I haven't used an Xbox controller since the 360 era, and I bought it for my PC to play Xbox games. It feels really good in my hands. Its light weight even with batteries in it, the buttons don't feel as stiff as the old 360 one, and even the d-pad feels natural despite its weird design. One complaint I do have is that the share, options, and clip button feel a little to small to use, or just not in the right position for functionality. Also I don't see a way to add recharable battery packs in the back which is a shame because that was a nice, connivant feature of the 360 controllers of old. Example, When I needed to turn of the 360 controller quickly, all I needed to was unhook the battery pack and it was done. Now, I have to open the back up and detach a battery to shut it off or wait for it to shut off on it own which wastes battery life. Thankfully mine is wired to my PC but for wireless players this could be a problem.

One benefit of this controller is that it automatically goes into sleep mode after a period of disuse so you don't have to worry about removing batteries to turn it off. We hope you have a lot of fun with it!

Another beautiful controller

I use this controller with the wireless dongle for my PC and it connects fast, responds instantly, and has a great battery life. The obvious plus is that this controller is beautifully designed and has nice features like the clear trigger buttons. Looking forward to using the controller for many years to come.

I was surprised at how light it felt, even with batteries in it. At first it gave the impression that it was cheaply made (which it probably is), but itis nice to game long sessions with. I bought this for PC, since I didn't have access to a console all of last year. But was able to score a Dell G7 with RTX2070 at the end of 2020. I had worn out 2 previous controllers, sitting home during pandemic. This one, even though it felt cheap, actually seems to hold up better. The buttons almost remind me of mechanical keys on a keyboard (which means they are loud when pressed). Can get a little irritating in a quiet room. But if you need a wireless controller to play games on PC or Xbox, then what else are you going to buy for 60 bucks!!
