The triggers and grips are textured. Very standard feel of a controller. This controller also supports the new rechargeable battery packs that use type-c charging.

The added rubber on the grips is an absolute improvement on the base design. Graphics are awesome!

He loves that the backside of the controller has little stubbles so he can grip the controller even when he has sweaty hands.
