Great quality, poor firmware

Overall I found this controller a a great update to the past generation. The feel and texture is nice, the slightly changed dpad, and the new feel was a welcome change. The only issue currently is connectivity with PC. When connected via bluetooth you will have frequent disconnections in various titles. (AC Valhalla and Doom Internal are my most recent titles) I've updated drivers for my PC, updated firmware for the controller and no change. I am hopeful that a solution will be around the corner as using a wireless controller with a wire seems wrong.

The feel of the hand placement is much more to my liking verses the slick plastic of most controllers. When first started up the controller had a lot of lag. Come to find out it needed to be updated, just took the Xbox 2-3 days to prompt. Since then it has been very similar to the stock Xbox controller.

Over and over again these controllers eventually start to suffer from stick drift even when you’re casually gaming. The same goes for these limited time controllers. As expensive as they are, you’re still only paying for looks, you arent getting a solid controller for that price. If you want quality over style, best to avoid xbox brand controllers. Go for third party, more specifically, look for ones that have hall effect sticks. Those you wont have to worry about.
