This is for use with PC via the Xbox Windows dongle. My previous two year old Xbox controller started to drift and as I’m hyped for Starfield this was a no brainer. The Starfield theming is fun and in line with their “NASA-punk” aesthetic. If you’re excited for Starfield and need a new controller it’s easily worth the modest price premium. The materials feel nicer than the standard controller and it looks great.

I think the trigger buttons are really smooth and almost velvety feeling when you click them. Some of the regular buttons are a little too stiff cheap and clicky for my tastes though and I kind of wonder if the more expensive controller has smoother buttons and Microsoft didn't make this one a little cheaper just to incline you to spend over $100 on the new controller. It works, I'm happy with it but I think that a few of the buttons could have been a little better designed.

Great controller; but outdated

Same quality and feel. However, when you use a PS5 controller, you feel that this controller is outdated. Please xbox come out with another controller. You will love this controller, but its not the upgrade that the system deserves.

I wasn’t able to use any of my other Xbox controllers from previous years with my PC, but this was plug and play right away as windows detects this new wireless controller. Playing call of duty on the PC with this controller changed everything for me. I am sticking with my fully built PC over buying a new console, and I would recommend picking up one of these new controllers.
