Extremely similar to the Xbox One controller. I was afraid the D-pad would disappoint, but I actually really like it. It keeps the same clickiness of the previous one, and the shape actually feels pretty good. I just played through all of Cuphead with it, and I had no issues. Everything else on this controller is about what you'd expect. Best controller for PC gaming IMO.

I have a couple Xbox one controllers but the improvements on this new controller are noticeable and better. First is the grip, there is a bit of texturing around more of the controller which makes holding it easier. The button click is noticeably better. Especially the dpad but the bumper buttons got an improvement as well. Last thing to note is the usb c port which I appreciate.

Its an XBOX controller what is not to love about this. It is feels good in one's hand, it is responsive, the handles are textured for added grip, the color scheme on the buttons makes easily identifiable, the joysticks are textured around their circumference, and it pairs up with the best gaming system in world "XBOX"... need I say more?

Is it as good as the PS5 controller? No. It doesn’t have adaptive triggers or haptic feedback, but it’s still a great controller. I’ve never really liked previous Xbox controllers, but this one feels great in my hands. Short of the Elite Controller, this is Xbox’s best controller yet. Don’t bother buying the knock off controllers. You’ll end up wishing you bought the real thing in the long run— especially if you’re able to find this on sale for less than fifty bucks. Just be sure to get a good charger so you don’t have to keep buying AA batteries. Really, Xbox? It’s 2021 guys. Let’s fix that.

Cool color just like the others. $49.99 vs Regular priced controllers. They all do the same thing. Kids love it. Can’t lose this one . LOL

The controllers were replacements for my kids. Well, more like the 8 billionth replacement of the original ones that came w/ the console. But, they were easily set up, and if you listen carefully...you can hear my kids losing their minds on any given night either trash talking, or whining about someone trash talking them in game. Ahh, the joys of parenthood. Good times....

Needed to get a new xbox controller as my old one was getting old, having quite alot of issues that i couldn't resolve. So i decided to get this. I love thay its finally usb-c and i works witb my xbox one X. The design is also phenomenal.

It works well for daily play until it doesn’t. My old Xbox one controllers lasted me 10+ years (4 of which was daily play), and only needed basic maintenance. These new controllers develop stick drift after about three-six months of daily play and light accidents (falling two feet into the carpet). After replacing my controllers 5 times since my Xbox Series S purchase, I am debating about switching to an aftermarket controller, since Xbox clearly stopped making solid controllers after the Xbox One models. They’re great for light use and stay strong for months, but if you’re a daily gamer, probably stick to something else!

I want to start by saying I use this for PC. Overall I found this controller a a great update to the past generation. The feel and texture is nice, the slightly changed dpad, and the new feel was a welcome change. The only issue currently is connectivity with PC. When connected via bluetooth you will have frequent disconnections in various titles. (AC Valhalla and Doom Internal are my most recent titles) I've updated drivers for my PC, updated firmware for the controller and no change. I am hopeful that a solution will be around the corner as using a wireless controller with a wire seems wrong.
