My son loves his controller, loves the color and says it’s very smooth

I bought this with the release of the xbox series x and have enjoyed the feel of the controller. It has several key changes, most obvious is the additional share button that just makes sharing a 1 click ordeal. The changes to the grip feels nice and seems to keep my hands from slipping. I like the new d-pad versus the old dpad, its the same style as in the elite controller and is nice for your fingers to not rock off of the directional controls. No complaints about this controller, it doesn't have the heft of the elite controller but it also doesn't cost as much (by a long shot).

It’s so pretty!!! Looks like those cool paint jobs they do on cars that changes color depending on the angle. The rubberized Grips a cool too. So glad I snagged these on Black Friday!

On launch day, I was very happy to secure a XBOX Series X - a hugely in demand next generation console. I was able to get the unit from a company that has a red and white bullseye as its corporate logo. Based on observing the difficulty in which people are having getting the console, I figured there might be supply-demand issues for other critical components such as this product so I purchased on during Best Buy Black Friday Thanksgiving special. So far this product has remained in its box (unopened). I did get a sizeable discount on this product with the Best Buy Thanksgiving Sale special pricing. I have been using the black controller that came with the console and enjoy it very much. My only fear is that the controller might suffer the same irregular potentiometer drift issue that I experienced with the previous XBOX console generation (XBOX One X). I have about 5 controllers and all but 1 suffered from that annoying drift issue which made many game unplayable such as COD:MW where tight control of the analog stick is imperative. If the stick in neutral position is drifting, it is very difficult to overcome that during gameplay. This beautiful blue controller cost a bit of a premium over the regular white controller, but I believe it is worth the money.

Xbox series X controllers are very comfortable in the hand and the improvements to texture around triggers and grips are very nice. Dpad is great and the impulse triggers are very responsive with feedback with games that support the feature. Color options are great with xbox providing these retail buy colors and design lab.

Functionality sound. No hiccups or glitches. My grandson enjoyed the color selection. As with e everything today, it's overpriced.

Excellent controller all around! Occasionally due to requiring an update it will stop syncing with the Xbox, but after updating it usually resolves the issue.
