I did not notice the size difference because its a very small change. only big thing is the share button. I find it convenient because I like to record some of my game play. it has a USB-C connection so if you have the rechargeable battery, you dont need to have it plugged in for too long for it to be fully charged. I've never purchased 3rd party controllers for my Xbox consoles (the original Xbox to Series X). I prefer the same company that build the console, that's just my opinion.

It is a really nice controller to use. Perfect weight and balance. I also like the texture and feel of it. Buttons and sticks work very well and perfectly calibrated out of the box. Plus the red color is just cool! Still on first set of batteries after a month of regular use.

I can't get over how pretty the colors are. By far my favorite controller. No complaints at all. I am just glad I waited to get this one. And the price was great.
