They’re good and reliable, and you can even use it on your phone or PC if you want via Bluetooth. You can open them up to clean or repair them but that does void the warranty, so only do that if you don’t have one and know what you’re doing.

This is an OS/driver problem though and the controller works great outside of these disconnections.

We're glad that you're enjoying the updated features of your new Xbox wireless controller, but sorry that there's an issue using it with Windows 10 PC through Bluetooth. If you are still experiencing this issue please ensure you have the latest service update for Windows. You can find available Windows updates by going to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > Check for Updates on your Windows 10 PC. In some cases, there may be a button that says “View optional updates”, and you may be required to click there to find the update.
