We update these every Christmas, but they do get used for an hour or two many days a week. They also withstand the occasional temper tantrum.

The only down side is that after theyve been used for a while the thumb sticks get worn out and dont work anymore. By that time you can 8+ months out of them. But overall im happy with them.
