Best Controller for Xbox and PC Gaming
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Xbox Wireless Controller continues to be one of the best gaming controllers available. The design is comfortable for long gaming sessions, the buttons feel responsive, and the textured grip provides excellent control. Setup was quick and easy on both Xbox and PC. Bluetooth connectivity is reliable, and switching between devices is seamless. The controller feels solid and well-built, with a premium quality that stands out compared to many third-party alternatives. I especially like the improved D-pad and the overall ergonomics. Whether playing competitive games or casual titles, the controller delivers precise inputs and consistent performance. Battery life is very good, and the compatibility across Xbox consoles, Windows PCs, and cloud gaming platforms makes it a versatile option for any gamer. Overall, this is an excellent controller that combines comfort, durability, and performance. Highly recommended for both Xbox and PC users.

Improvement, but not ground breaking.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the slightly reworked Series controller. I recently purchased the XBO, blue controller from last gen..And this gen's XSX-S blue controller, and I really like the darker tones blue with a splash of white on the bottom side. Once you pick the new controller up, you'll instantly notice the grip on the triggers, bumpers, and handles....The D pad is re-worked, and an added share button. When holding both last and this gen's controllers at the same time..I noticed the build quality was better on the new one...more so towards the Elite controller...It felt less cheap like the old one. I 've always like the Xbox controller because it fit my big hands...The new controller isn't ground breaking at all, just a little nip there and a tuck there...

Improving on an already Good Design
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Since, the Xbox 360 days, Xbox controllers have been the gold standard in my view of controller design. The Series X controller is an evolution rather than a revolution, adding texture to key grip points and improving the dpad. It also adds a share button for the sharing functionality on the console. Overall, I have no complaints, and using the Series X controller with my old Microsoft USB adapter on my PC worked without a hitch. Definite recommend for anyone who wants to refresh their peripheral.

I’ve been using my Xbox Wireless Controller for months now, and it’s easily the best gaming controller I’ve ever owned. The ergonomic design fits perfectly in my hands, with textured grips that prevent slipping even during intense sessions. Buttons are responsive, triggers feel precise, and the D-pad is spot-on for fighting games or menus. Connectivity is seamless – pairs instantly with my Xbox Series X, PC, and even phone for cloud gaming. Battery life lasts ages (up to 40 hours!), and the share button makes capturing clips a breeze. The hybrid D-pad and improved thumbsticks make every game feel more immersive and accurate. Compared to older controllers or competitors, this one wins on comfort, build quality, and features. Whether playing FPS, racing, or RPGs, it elevates the experience. Highly durable too – no stick drift after heavy use! If you’re gaming on Xbox or PC, this is a must-have. Worth every penny – absolute 5 stars!

Buttons that dont judge me
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I rarely get a moment of peace—but this Xbox controller? Instant therapy. It’s comfy, clicky, and responsive… basically the only thing in my life that doesn’t yell at me when I mess up. Thumbsticks glide smoother than my coffee-fueled morning sanity, and the grip is so good I can finally pretend I’m in control… even if the laundry, homework, and snack requests are still happening around me. Battery life lasts longer than my “quiet time,” which is basically a miracle. If you want a controller that actually understands stress, chaos, and the occasional rage-quit moment, this is it. 10/10 would recommend… and yes, I’ve named mine.

My Favorite of All Time!
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have owned probably every standard version of the Xbox controller that has existed since the 360 was introduced. Xbox is my jam, and this controller is even prettier in person than it is in pictures. I actually wasn't looking for a controller at the time, though I was in need of one, as my controllers I bought alongside my Series X were experiencing drift after a few years. This one caught my eye when I was in Best Buy, and I couldn't walk away! It's so gorgeous. I've had it for well over a year now, and I still seek it out to use exclusively simply because it's so pretty, haha! It's still going strong, even with getting accidentally tossed off the couch here and there (usually by a cat walking near it/shoving it off, lol). And the only reason I recently considered buying a new one was because....you guessed it - I walked by a pink and blue one in BEST BUY and immediately had to start reminding myself I don't need another one.... But, like, they're so fun, and you can never have too many Xbox controllers in my opinion! Oooh, new justification - I need one for my computer and one for my Xbox, haha! *salute* I'll be stopping by soon for that other new one, haha!

A solid Best Buy purchase
||Posted . The aesthetic is fantastic. the shades of blue look much better in person than in the photos. It added some flair to my setup. The functionally is top-notch and the bluetooth connectivity to my Xbox series X is seamless. Highly recommend.

New Controller (Same as the Old Controller)
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I used an Xbox One controller for light PC gaming the past number of years, and figured I'd upgrade to a Series S/X controller upon seeing it on sale. Figured I'd relegate the One controller to "guest" duty the rare times I may have a guest over for a gaming session. In terms of ergonomics, the Series controller feels real similar to the One before it, which is to say: it's a comfy piece of plastic. The textured grip & triggers of the Series controller make it even more comfortable. Also nice to see USB C for charging, though for a 2020s-era piece of tech, I reckon most people would expect it to be there. It paired about as easy with my PC as I could hope for, nothing dramatic to report on that front. One unfortunate thing with this controller that's been carried over from the One: Why, in the year 2024, is the rechargable battery a separate purchase? Why, this far into the 2020s, do we need batteries like gamers did when they had GameBoys in the 1990s/early 2000s? Sony's had rechargeable batteries in their PlayStation controllers since the PS3 days, Nintendo moved away from batteries in controllers after the Wii, it's baffling to me that Microsoft keeps opting for an antiquated charging scheme when the Switch Pro controller & DualSense today cost pretty darn close to what the Xbox Series controller costs without a separate charging kit (at their respective MSRP prices). But I digress, this controller is still a solid one for PC gaming. If you can find this on sale & don't mind having to either shell out a bit more for batteries or a proper charging kit, you can do a lot worse than this. If you find an older One controller for significantly cheaper, I low-key doubt you'd miss the textured grip & triggers that overly much. Overall, I'd grade this a 3.5/5 mostly out of spite for the battery situation, though I'll spite my spite & round the score up to a 4/5 for today.

Great color and use for xbox but on phone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Microsoft Xbox Wireless Controller in Shock Blue is a fantastic addition to any gaming setup. Right out of the box, the vibrant Shock Blue color makes a bold and stylish statement—it’s easily one of the best-looking controllers Microsoft has released. The build quality is excellent, with a comfortable ergonomic design that feels great in hand during long gaming sessions. The textured grips on the back and triggers provide solid control, while the hybrid D-pad is a noticeable improvement over previous generations, offering more precision for directional inputs. Performance-wise, the controller is responsive and consistent across a variety of games. Whether I’m playing fast-paced shooters or more relaxed story-driven titles, the buttons, triggers, and thumbsticks all feel snappy and well-calibrated. The addition of a dedicated Share button is also a nice touch for quickly capturing gameplay clips or screenshots. One of the controller’s biggest strengths is its compatibility. It works seamlessly with Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows PCs, and even mobile devices via Bluetooth. I’ve used it for Xbox Cloud Gaming on both Android and iOS without issues, and the ability to switch between devices is convenient once you get used to the pairing process. My only gripe is the use of AA batteries by default. While it offers good battery life (around 30-40 hours), I would have preferred a built-in rechargeable battery. Thankfully, Microsoft sells a rechargeable battery pack separately, which I’d recommend picking up if you game frequently. Overall, the Shock Blue Xbox Wireless Controller offers a great mix of style, performance, and versatility. It's a solid choice whether you're upgrading from an older controller or just want a unique new color for your setup. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a reliable and great-looking controller and so many colors too.

Decent controller
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good controller, first one had bad stick drift and didn’t uphold but the second one has been fairly decent. Although the design controllers are a little expensive and just as god as their basic solid color ones.
