My old Xbox one controllers lasted me 10+ years (4 of which was daily play), and only needed basic maintenance. These new controllers develop stick drift after about three-six months of daily play and light accidents (falling two feet into the carpet). After replacing my controllers 5 times since my Xbox Series S purchase, I am debating about switching to an aftermarket controller, since Xbox clearly stopped making solid controllers after the Xbox One models. They’re great for light use and stay strong for months, but if you’re a daily gamer, probably stick to something else!

One of my Xbox One controllers finally died, and the latest Xbox Series X|S controller is the perfect replacement.

However, if you can get it with a good discount (like $20 less), it will be the best controller ever. I love it, and it is pretty nice!
