Xbox does nice colors but their feel and build quality for this and last generation has fallen to third place behind the ds4, dualsense, and switch pro controller. The AA battery concept is absolutely wild to me in this age, however anyone that actually plays surely buys a rechargeable pack quute cheaply and those certainly provide more playtime and value than the other first party built in batteries. I look forward to trying out their elite series but for casual play these work like a charm.

This Xbox Wireless Controller feels familiar in the hand yet subtly different, with improved tactile textures and refined geometry making for a better playing experience. We are also happy to see Microsoft finally implement a dedicated Share button to its gamepad, making it considerably easier to take screenshots and videos mid-game. But as this controller is top of the line, we wish Microsoft would leave the stone age and make their controllers plug n charge out of tge box.

Great replacement controller! Once it a while it times out and reconnects, but that may just be my own desktop's issues. Wired its solid and how I usually play anyway. Plus, the blue color makes it stand out from my black computer and black desk, making for a slightly easier nightime gaming experience!
