We haven't had any issues at all. They really enjoyed their gift. Still works great! Picked up in store not a long line and excellent customer service.

I don’t know about the past Xbox controllers but the series x controller feels nicer and more… natural if that makes any sense. I thought the batteries would be an issue but nah, those babies last for days to me
