Battery life isn’t great but the same as other Xbox wireless controllers. It has no additional features so it’s the same controller that comes with the Xbox s/s series, some improvements of the Xbox one wireless controller. The increased cost is simply for the color.

Negative is that it takes AA batteries, but you have the option to replace those with a rechargeable battery pack and charging cradle, so no switching batteries. Not as convenient as playstation's built-in battery, but have noticed slightly longer life in comparison. If you're new to xbox, coming from PS or Nintendo the face button configuration can take weeks of retraining muscle memory ("X" is in a different spot on all three).

Brilliant and illustrious design. Grips are a tad too smooth for me, and therefore nothing to behold. Pretty standard quality overall.
