Bought one after trying to buy a third party wired xbox controller for my laptop before the old controller fell apart (literally) after about 80 hours of play. The quality upgrade is significant, feels amazing to play with. Highly recommend just paying for a first party controller rather than settling for less.

This controller is great for Steam. My favorite feature about this controller is the battery. It's not embedded. Sure, you have to replace the battery every so often, but this will make your controller last so much more than the ladder. I had similar controllers like this for the Xbox 360 and they easily lasted through the lifetime of the console. This is an easy pick. The customer service at the location I was at leaves something to be desired. It's a shame because the customer service at Best Buy used to be pretty good before the pandemic. The employees I interacted with weren't really friendly. They didn't greet me and didn't thank me at all for shopping there. It felt more like I was in a local bodega than a central store in the middle of the city. Definitely not coming to Best Buy Union Square for the time being.

For its price, the Series S punches above its weight, offering incredible value with its sleek design and access to next-gen features like Quick Resume and faster loading. It's an excellent, affordable system for families or anyone wanting to jump into modern gaming without the cost of the Series X.

Great controller, I bought this a while back not and it works great. I can't speak to the durability of it as I don't play often. I do like the texture of the grip and the tactile feeling of the actual button press. I'd recommend this product for people who play games for fun but you would want something better if your intent was to be competitive.

I really love the feel of this new controller. Feels a little smaller then my old controllers. I like the textured grips on the controller.

Great feel, these are a fantastic improvement over the original model that debuted with the Xbox One. The D-pad feels nice and “click-y” like they should, and the slight abrasion feeling grips on the handles are a welcome treat for anyone. I feel like at this point Microsoft should offer controllers with a built-in rechargeable battery instead of having to purchase them separately, but this doesn’t take away from the quality or reliability of their controllers.

Ever since my Xbox Consoles quit working, I've been playing many of my games on PC and I've enjoyed using this controller for those games and much more!

Controller works wonders as did the previous gen version. The new textures added to the controller add a great sense of tactility and makes gripping the controller easier as there are small groves to help with holding the controller during long gaming sessions. Being able to pair up to previous Xbox devices and receivers makes using this as simple as it could possibly be, It doesn't desert the old receivers. Downside, you do have to purchase a new rechargeable battery as you cannot use the old gen with this newer controller.

Great, sleek design. I was concerned about it being white, but it did not get dirty (so far). It is compatible with my Xbox One.

Well made and easy to use! Very comfortable! Love the colors! Have all of them! Grips are easy and comfort for playing long housers.

has a nice white color that gives it a clean and sleek look, and the build quality is solid. The controller feels comfortable in the hand, and the buttons are responsive and easy to press. The wireless connection is also very stable, I never had any issues with it. The battery life is also pretty good, I can play for a few hours before needing to charge it again.

Not sure or if was defective but settings wouldn’t switch from the game and it would lag sometimes. When it did work, it worked great.

I bought it when I went to the store to buy a gaming laptop I needed it to use it for games you can do many things on it. Its not only just for Xbox you can also play it on your PC which im happy for it. Great budget for a Controller and again I would highly reccomend you if you are going for a controller the cheapest would be Xbox over the others.

Got this during the $40 promotion and can easily say that it is an extremely comfortable controller. The texture on the bottom is nice to grip even for long sessions, and the new d-pad is nice and tactile. I'm using this for some pc gaming and the convenience of native Windows 10 support can't be overstated. Unfortunate how Xbox controllers still take AA batteries in 2020, but at least they include 2 alkalines with the controller. No USB-C cable though, but hard to complain at this price point.
