It's nearly identical to the previous one, but the D-pad is better on this. Other than that, since this is the only one you can buy, you are forced into it if you want a new one. But that's not a bad thing!

Easy to update and has the best longevity. Only downside is the new XBOX controller does not fit the aftermarket rechargeable batteries that were made for the original XBOX One controllers.

I bought the warranty and they replaced it with no questions asked. It wouldnt stay connected to my daughters xbox one S

And maybe your Tesla too. I'm a little worried about stains over time so I'd suggest not getting this as your primary controller. No complaints or stains yet.
