So far, the durability seems good, but I will have to see how long it last thru more usage. I purchased the 2 year geeks squad replacement plan just in case stick drift occurs.

The previous xbox one controller usually ended up having a phantom drift with the joysticks after 100+ hours of gaming. So far these haven't shown any issues.

It's great if you don't mind having it plugged in but wireless isn't so great. I'm not the only one whose been having issues either. The controller itself feels great and doesn't feel it'll break after a fall.

We're sorry that there's an issue using your new Xbox wireless controller with Windows 10 PC through Bluetooth. If you are still experiencing this issue please ensure you have the latest service update for Windows. You can find available Windows updates by going to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > Check for Updates on your Windows 10 PC. In some cases, there may be a button that says “View optional updates”, and you may be required to click there to find the update.
Once that is complete you will also need to make sure the controller firmware is up to date by checking for additional updates within the Xbox Accessories app. If you continue to experience a problem, please check with our team at Xbox Support for assistance here: https://beta.support.xbox.com/en-US/help/hardware-network/controller/wireless-controller-solution
