Love them both. Very comfortable for long gaming sessions. Gave this a 5 star not only cause it was comfortable to hold but it looks sweet and because it switched to usb-c. The original one I bought uses micro usb. I probably should've mentioned that I plug it in to play rather than use batteries

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great new version of the xbox one controller, however, i was hoping the "share" button in the middle could be mapped to do something else, like launch spotify for example, but sadly does not as of right now. This version also features a textured grip on the "handles" and the triggers. I love the d-pads full cirlce design. When i bought this i did not know it was a usb c input which is nice because mini sucks but unless you bought many electronics the past 2 years, this may be your only cord. One last thing, if your an epic gamer and you play a lot, the white controller mixed with the textured grips and trigs makes for a very dirty controller in only a month, covered in dead skin and dorito dust. All in all, get this one if you in the market for a new xbox controller, they cost the same price and you get an extra button.

While the Share Button may not be remapped to a different function, you may change its function so that it must be held down to capture screenshots or video. This may prevent accidental presses. I like that the letters on the four buttons on the right side of the controller are different colors; they are easy to read and improve its utility.
