A better version of the original . I use it with my Xbox One X with no issues. The share button even works. The grip is nice. The battery compartment is different.

I purchased this controller for my son. It is a great controller and the quality appears good. It is a little smaller and it’s a little easier to handle.

This was a must have for my game-loving son! The color is nice and the fact t hat it works across the board on ALL Xbox's including the two new series is a plus!

I was somewhat disappointed with the Xbox controller. It’s been years since I’ve used one, and was expecting better quality. The base controller does not come with a rechargeable battery pack. You have to spend another $20-$30 if you don’t want to keep buying AA batteries. Come on Microsoft… Sony Dual Shock controllers all come with rechargeable barriers built in… At $60 I would expect this controller to be rechargeable. The A-B-X-Y buttons felt cheap and were not enjoyable to use. They were hard to press, kinda sticky, and overall just not a great experience. Triggers, bumpers, and sticks were fine enough. No complaints. Connecting to my Windows 11 desktop was a breeze and made playing certain games on PC way more enjoyable. Controller is customizable if you use the Xbox app on your PC. If you don’t mind spending $60 for a mediocre controller experience with no rechargeable batteries then this is the one for you. Otherwise, you might be better off going with a third party controller or upgrading to the Elite controller. I ended up returning it and getting an Elite controller instead.

Bought it to replace my current broken controller. Hopefully this one will last just as long if not longer than my old one.

Bought it on sale. Recommend if you own the old system as well as I do. Comfortable in the hands and the new texture gives you better grip of the controller

Ever since the Xbox console has existed, the original white controller out of any other color that I have used, has never given me any problems. It's my go to.

I wanted to get an Xbox controller for my new PC, and decided to wait until the Series X version came out. I previously had a PS4 and was briefly using the dualshock. This controller feels great in my hands, and I love the matte, grip-texture on the back - helps a lot with sweaty palms. Joysticks and buttons feel good, everything feels like it has the "right" characteristic. My only complaint is that the share button has no function on PC, and can't be mapped to take a screenshot or video. I feel like this can be added in later, and doesn't affect Xbox naturally, so no bump in score.

Love that Xbox added a share button. Cool new feature to Windows 11 and this controller, when this controller goes into pairing mode, a "Pair Controller" notification will pop up on the PC. Only works if you PC has bluetooth. It making pairing much easier than it was on the previous bluetooth xbox controllers. Very nice.

Had to get new controllers for my kid's Xbox One that is 6 or 7 years old. This seem to be doing the trick. Nice to have different colors now too.

I love this controller, fits in the hands amazing and the grip is one of the best moves Xbox has made for a controller. I also love the new share button it makes taking clips 20x faster and easier. The only down sides to this controller is the share button can easily be tapped by accident resulting to a unwanted clip but can easily be deleted. The last little thing I dislike is the controller is designed for next gen but looks and feels the same (besides the new grip) but overall the controller is great and I would definitely recommend to use this controller while gaming. Oh and one last thing this controller can be used on next gen and last gen. Last gen can use the share button also. Controller works with no issues, no stick lag or pulling

Controller for my kid works well and was easy to set up to the Xbox.

I love this controller so much i need to throw it against my wall because i get clipped by a 10 year old that plays fortnite 24/7
