The only reason I took of one star is the connectivity issue. You need to reconnect everything you use the controller (I mean, delete the controller from the device list and reconnect which is a pain). Googled around, and it says it's by design the controller will work with PC like this. MS should do better on the compatibility side.

The texture on the back is oddly pleasing and the only negative is that rechargeable batteries for the old controllers don’t fit with the charging window of the old controller.

I could have just sent it in to be repaired but I wasn't thinking at the time. Anyways, its works and looks great in blue.

Customer service is always terrific. Connect really easy and decent on batteries. You can connect with USB-c cable if needed to laptop but no need. just connect as device through bluetooth.
