It has texture on the back side of the handles making it easier to hold and keep in place. The button layout is the standard one from the previous generation, with the new button for easier access to the menus. They've only been using it for a couple of days, but so far, so good.

Also, it has grip on the trigger as well as areas around the controller. Feels nice in the hand and has a good weight.
