The design is minimalistic, yet elegant. The quality appears to be sturdy. Best Buy shipped it within a few days. From the description I was missing the information about whether it can be used in a wired mode. Luckily it can, via the USB C port. In that case the controller does not need batteries either, making it even lighter. T minus 6 days until lift off!!!

Ergonomics feels more comfortable than my original One X controller. Slightly texted grip helps for those who have sweaty hands. Haha.

Good Wireless Controller for Windows Gaming

The controller integrates seamlessly with Steam, requiring minimal configuration for both single and two-player games.I haven't experienced any noticeable lag when using the Bluetooth. Regarding power options, the controller can operate using standard AA batteries or Microsoft's rechargeable battery pack, which is sold separately. When using AA batteries, connecting the controller via a USB-C cable to the computer does not recharge them. However, with the Microsoft battery pack installed, the controller can be recharged directly through the USB-C connection. Battery life varies based on usage, but typically, recharging is needed every few days. Additionally, the controller can be connected directly to the computer using a USB-C cable, eliminating the need for Bluetooth pairing.
