A Worthy Successor to the 360 Controller

The D-pad is superior to the Elite 2 controller D-pad, and infinitely better than regular Xbox One D-pad. It's what the Xbox 360 D-pad should have been, and I hope Microsoft releases a limited edition 360 style controller for Series X/S with this superior D-pad and improved triggers and grip. Yes, the grips on this controller feel great in my hands. If you get this for PC, I highly recommend getting a wireless adapter as well because the Bluetooth connection is much less reliable.

Nice Upgrade Over Xbox One Controller
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was skeptical at first for it being a viable upgrade over the Xbox One Controller, but now I'm sold it's a good upgrade. Slightly different contour feels good in the hands and the stubbles give the controller a good grip. The D-pad took a little bit to get used to, but now it feels natural. Right and left triggers and buttons feel better, while the thumbsticks have a slightly lower profile, feeling more comfortable but they require a slightly more pressure to press. Overall a good upgrade.

From the specs of the elite controller, it’s really similar and one the best models to come out yet. It lasts a really long time if you’re careful with it. If you get stick drift just open the panels underneath the triggers and get a 8T star bit screwdriver to open it up and lube up the joysticks.

I've always really enjoyed the newer Xbox controllers but this one just blew the last gen ones out of the water. The new grip and texture to the controllers just give them that extra touch of class. The color combination is just pleasing to the eyes and the new USB C connector makes life a little easier. If you don't own a usb C charging cable you will definitely want to get one for this controller.

The Blue color really pops!
