We're sorry if there's an issue using your new Xbox wireless controller with Windows 10 PC through Bluetooth. If you are still experiencing this issue please ensure you have the latest service update for Windows. You can find available Windows updates by going to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > Check for Updates on your Windows 10 PC. In some cases, there may be a button that says “View optional updates”, and you may be required to click there to find the update.

The thumb stick usually wears out and i haven't had the best of luck over the years. I bought the geek squad this time figuring it will come in handy and make the next one 1/3 of the price and more than pay for itself. I usually get six months max out of these.
